Under the patronage and presence of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabar Al-Jubouri, and with wide participation from the esteemed assistants, college deans, faculty members, and students, the Global Rankings Unit at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a central event in collaboration with the College of Education to celebrate our university’s achievements in attaining distinguished ranks in the British Times Higher Education rankings.
The ceremony, held in Sheikh Al-Waeli Hall at the College of Education with the attendance of members of the provincial council and academic personalities, included a speech by the university president, who praised the efforts of the rankings team, deans of colleges, distinguished researchers, heads of scientific departments, quality assurance, and professors who contributed to raising the university’s name high, appreciating their noble academic professionalism.
Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Abbas Al-Shammari, the head of the Global Rankings Unit at our university, elaborated in his speech on the university’s active role and the scientific and research impact of its entry into the global ranking and its indicators and methods for maintaining the ranking level in the future.
The event included the honoring of the university president by the dean of the College of Education and the recognition of the scientific and administrative assistants, alongside multiple awards for the rankings team, deans of colleges, heads of departments that achieved advanced ranks, and the e-learning team, in appreciation of their efforts in elevating our university to the ranks of reputable universities.
