Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabbar Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and with the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nawir Al-Zubaidi, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized a cultural seminar titled “Gender Justice Standards,” presented by Professor Dr. Talib Abdul-Ridha Kaitan and Dr. Alaa Al-Saadi.
The seminar aimed to highlight the most important standards of gender justice, which are represented by a set of principles and procedures aimed at achieving equality and fairness between genders in various fields.
The seminar recommended the necessity of raising awareness about women’s rights and gender equality through educational curricula and media. It also suggested establishing mechanisms to monitor the extent of gender justice achievement and holding accountable those who do not adhere to fair standards. These standards, which are used as a framework to evaluate the extent of gender justice in different societies, help enhance sustainable development and social welfare.
