The College of Science, Al-Qadisiyah University, holds a scientific symposium on herbs and medicinal plants and their role in the manufacture of some medicines.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Salwan Ali Obaid, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science held a scientific symposium entitled (Herbs and Medicinal Plants and Their Role in the Production of Some Medicines). Prof. Dr. Nabil Abdul Abdul Redha and Assistant Professor Taiba Ibrahim Muhammad gave lectures. The symposium recommended the necessity of emphasizing how to use some herbs, ensuring the quality of the herb used and ensuring that it does not have side effects, purchasing from approved and correct sources and specialists in these herbs, using the specified dose, and not using an excess quantity.
