The College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a scientific symposium on drama between novels and theater.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kadhim Nowair Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts held a scientific symposium entitled “Drama between the Novel and the Theater: A Reading of Structure and Performance.” Presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anas Rahi and Asst. M. Osama Ghali, the symposium aimed to highlight the determinants of the concept of drama in the novel and theater, examining the history of the term and concept and their origins in the Greek incubator, particularly with Aristotle, through the transformations it has undergone, and finally concluding with what modern and post-modern critics intended. The symposium recommended finding new approaches to the concept of drama between the novel and the theater.
