Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a scientific symposium entitled “Ethical and Professional Guidance and Career Development in Nursing.” Assistant Professor Kadhim Jamil Awad lectured.
The symposium aimed to highlight the importance of ethical and professional guidance in the field of nursing and to develop the skills of nursing personnel in this field.
The symposium also included several topics, including the concept of ethical and professional guidance in nursing. Ethical and professional guidance was defined, along with its importance in the practice of the nursing profession and the ethics of the nursing profession. The ethical principles governing the practice of nursing were reviewed, such as respect for patients’ rights, commitment to confidentiality, and justice.
