The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific course titled (Quantum Computing: An Introduction) in the Continuing Education Hall, presented by M.M. Ahmed Adel Hashim, M.M. Kawthar Jabbar Mazhar, and M.M. Hadeel Abdul-Hussein.
The course aimed to provide a comprehensive introduction to quantum computing, its fundamental principles, and modern applications. It also covered essential concepts such as quantum bits (Qubits), superposition, and quantum entanglement, in addition to quantum algorithms and their impact on various fields such as encryption and artificial intelligence.
Recent developments in this field and the associated technical challenges were also reviewed, providing participants with the opportunity to understand the prospects of quantum computing and its potential role in revolutionizing the world of technology.
