The Public Law Department at the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific seminar titled (The Role of Cyberbullying in Promoting Hatred), presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Mohammed Sahib and Assistant Professor Dr. Suad Shakir Bayoui.
The seminar aimed to introduce the crime of cyberbullying and its role in spreading hatred among community members through the use of technology, such as the internet and social media, to intentionally and repeatedly harm others.
The main conclusions include an increase in verbal violence; cyberbullying may involve harsh insults or derogatory words that can lead to angry reactions or even hatred towards individuals who engage in these actions. It also affects personal identity; when a person is bullied due to their appearance, beliefs, or cultural background, it can lead to feelings of rejection and discrimination.
