The Women’s Affairs Unit and the Personnel Unit at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University, in collaboration with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Diwaniyah branch, organized a workshop titled “First Aid: Essential Skills for Saving Lives” as part of the third national plan for women, peace, and security focusing on the pillar of (protection and prevention). The workshop featured speakers Ms. Israa Riad Abdel-Rida, Mr. Kifah Saleh Al-Shabani, and Mr. Abbas Abdullah Aboud.
The aim of the workshop was to equip students with the knowledge and essential skills in first aid, enabling them to act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations. The workshop also focused on raising participants’ awareness of the importance of rapid intervention before the arrival of specialized medical teams.
