Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Durgham Majid Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing organized a training course titled “Enhancing Cybersecurity Efficiency in Iraq Within the Legislative Framework.” The course featured presentations by M.M. Saroor Ahmed, M.M. Layali Rahi Ajami, Mrs. Iftikhar Ghani Mohammed, and Mr. Ali Abdul Hassan.
The course aimed to review the legal framework for cybersecurity, clarify the responsibilities of individuals and institutions in protecting data and digital privacy, discuss cybercrimes and their penalties, and highlight the role of educational institutions in raising legal awareness. Additionally, it addressed the legal challenges of cybersecurity, mechanisms for collecting digital evidence, and best practices for preventing cybercrimes, along with providing recommendations to enhance cybersecurity protection and ensure a safe digital environment.
