The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course titled “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” in the Continuing Education Unit, presented by Prof. Dr. Moussa Hadi Wali and Eng. Hassan Hamid Naji.
The course aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive and fundamental understanding of the concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, optimization algorithms, and their various applications, as well as enabling them to understand how these technologies work and how to apply them to solve problems in various fields.
The course included an introduction to artificial intelligence: basic concepts, types of artificial intelligence, applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning: types of machine learning (supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning), common algorithms (linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, support vector machines, K-nearest neighbors, K-means), and model evaluation.
