The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course entitled (Thermal Treatments of Carbon Steel) in the Continuing Education Unit Hall, in which Eng. Khaldoun Hussein Hamza lectured. The course aimed to study the basic methods of thermal treatments of carbon steel. The course also included identifying the types of thermal treatments, the purpose of each type, and the temperature of each type. It recommended studying thermal treatments and identifying the objectives of each type, as well as identifying the method of operation of each thermal treatment, temperature conditions, and cooling rates.
