Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Shaker Al-Awadi, the Women’s Affairs Unit held a scientific workshop entitled (Women’s Health Culture: Empowering Women for a Healthy and Sustainable Life), in which Dr. Roaa Abbas Asyoud and M. Rasha Abbas Asyoud lectured. The workshop included an introduction to health culture, as women’s health culture is an essential part of women’s empowerment and achieving their well-being. Health is not limited to the absence of disease, but includes physical and psychological health, in addition to awareness of the social and cultural factors that affect women’s health. The workshop recommended that women’s health culture is not just knowledge of medical information, but rather a comprehensive awareness that enables women to make informed health decisions and enhance their role in society. Investing in women’s health is an investment in a healthier and more prosperous society
