An awareness workshop at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University on the psychological and legal effects of drug abuse

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held an awareness workshop entitled (Psychological and Legal Effects of Drug Abuse) presented by Dr. Baida Saleh, M.M. Nour Jalawi, and Legal Consultant Shaza Kamel. The workshop aimed to educate individuals about the dangers of drug abuse and its psychological and legal effects, to familiarize participants with the negative repercussions on mental health and social behavior, to clarify the laws and penalties related to drug abuse and trafficking, and to enable participants to know the methods of prevention and available treatment methods, in addition to enhancing the role of society in combating addiction and supporting recovering addicts.
