The Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a training workshop entitled (Inspection and Diagnosis of Car Malfunctions by Computer) in the Graduate Studies Hall, in which Engineer Asaad Abbas Al-Shabli lectured. The workshop aimed to quickly identify the malfunction, save time and make it possible to repair the malfunction before it worsens and the damage becomes greater. The workshop also showed that electronic inspection devices are electronic tools used to diagnose all problems and defects in the various car systems. These devices are connected to a diagnostic port found in most modern cars, and in turn read the error codes stored in the car’s electronic control unit, abbreviated as ECU.
