Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hayawi Yawh Atya Al-Joudhri, Dean of the College of Agriculture, the College of Agriculture held a scientific workshop titled “Fundamentals of Writing and Publishing Scientific Research in Globally Influential Scientific Journals,” presented by Dr. Hussein Mohammed Ka’im.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the foundations of scientific research, its components, and writing methods, selecting the appropriate journal, and understanding how to identify the suitable scientific journal for publication, preparing a high-quality research paper, and learning the standards of academic writing and research formatting for publication.
The main conclusions emphasized the importance of good planning for scientific research, highlighting that the success of research relies on clearly defining the problem and specific objectives from the outset. It is essential for researchers to adhere to international scientific standards in terms of content formulation, using a precise methodological approach, and selecting the appropriate journal for publication in globally influential journals, which requires careful journal selection.
