The discussion session aimed to show that forensic DNA analysis is a process used to determine criminal identity or prove the genetic relationship between individuals, and it depends on the analysis of genetic material (DNA) taken from biological samples. The steps of forensic DNA analysis were discussed, which consist of collecting a biological sample from the crime scene or from suspects, such as hair, blood, saliva, or other tissues, and then extracting the DNA using special techniques.
