Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sattar Abdul Hassan Al-Fatlawi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mai Jalil Abdul, Head of the Chemical, Biological and Radiation Safety and Security Department, participated, accompanied by Lecturer Huda Kazem Mohsen from the College of Medicine, in the ministerial workshop held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for university officials in the Middle Euphrates region, in cooperation with the Department of Entrepreneurial Projects Management / Infrastructure and Scientific Support Division in the Research and Development Department of the Ministry on (Management of the Laboratory Equipment Platform), in the presence of the head and members of the ministerial team tasked with working on the electronic automation project adopted by the Ministry to keep pace with digital globalization, in addition to laboratory officials in Iraqi public and private universities. The workshop included a statement of the concept of the laboratory equipment platform as an electronic platform that aims to connect researchers with laboratory equipment in universities, whether they are lecturers or graduate students, which contributes to facilitating access to research equipment and maximizing the benefit from it. This platform is also a wonderful initiative to promote scientific research in Iraq and looks forward to achieving the maximum benefit for researchers and contributing to the development of research projects. The workshop recommended making laboratory equipment available in all colleges for researchers without interfering in the work of laboratories or their structure or management of laboratories and providing advanced equipment that contributes to supporting the research process in various scientific disciplines. It also called on everyone to cooperate and work in a team spirit to ensure the benefit of the representatives of this platform and interact with it to achieve the best results for the Iraqi researcher.
