The Department of Financial and Banking Sciences organized an awareness seminar on the phenomenon of cheating among university students and how to eliminate it, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rabab Ibrahim Kazem.
The seminar aimed to highlight the phenomenon of cheating and its impact on society and on the student themselves from both scientific and social perspectives, so that they do not become a negative individual in society, always relying on others, and lacking creativity and productivity. The seminar also addressed the reasons that drive university students to cheat, the most important of which are the lack of religious and ethical motivation, the absence of a sense of responsibility, anxiety about exams, and fear of failure. A set of tips was presented to help students reject the phenomenon of cheating in exams and to stop it, as well as to avoid instances of cheating during tests.
