The Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific seminar titled “The Phenomenon of Homosexuality” in Ibn Sina Hall, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Sahar Abdul Ilah. The seminar aimed to warn about the dangers of homosexuality and its causes. It indicated that homosexuality is an abnormal behavior that is punished by divine and civil laws due to its severe negative effects on individuals and society, and because it is a behavior practiced by individuals of their own will, meaning it is not typically due to the onset of a specific psychological or organic illness in most cases.
