Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah, the Department of Veterinary Microbiology at the college organized a discussion session titled “The Effects of Mycotoxins on Humans and Animals,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Janan Nazim Sadiq.
The discussion aimed to highlight the most important mycotoxins, including aflatoxins, patulin, ochratoxin A, trichothecenes, and sterigmatocystin, and their effects on human and animal health. The session also included an introduction to mycotoxins, their characteristics, types, and cumulative effects on human and animal health.
