Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a training course titled “Using Molecular Genetics Methods for Tumor Diagnosis,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Mishal Salem, Assistant Professor Haider Kazem Abbas, and Engineer Ali Salem.
The course aimed to familiarize participants with molecular-genetic methods for tumor diagnosis and the most important devices used in diagnosis, as well as the use of molecular-genetic methods in tumor diagnosis. The course also recommended the use of molecular-genetic methods in diagnosing tumors and types of cancers in terms of gene testing and tumor markers, as well as the use of modern techniques such as (NGS).
