Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a workshop titled “Oral Cysts,” presented by Assist. Prof. Faten Abdul Sattar, Assist. Prof. Zeina Farhan, and Assist. Prof. Amjad Kamel Dhamd.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of cysts, what is meant by them, and how to distinguish between different types of cysts based on shape and radiographic images, with the main goal of helping students establish fundamental guidelines for diagnosing cysts and differentiating between their types.
The workshop recommended encouraging and assisting students in practical applications of radiography in terms of correct angles and the appropriate type of radiography to aid in accurate diagnosis.
