Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Hussein Falah Ward, and the follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Hadi, the Women’s Affairs Unit and the Continuing Education Unit at the college, in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Diwaniyah branch, organized a training workshop titled (First Aid). The workshop was presented by Mr. Muqdad Laith Abbas, Mr. Kifah Saleh Abdul Abbas, and Mr. Falah Hassan Ghadir.
The workshop included an introduction to some principles of first aid for students and familiarizing them with the Red Crescent Society and its principles, as well as its effective role for the most vulnerable groups in society. Additionally, students were trained to provide first aid for cases such as fainting, electric shock, and others.
The workshop recommended the necessity of educating the teaching and administrative staff and students about the principles of first aid and ensuring they are aware of these principles to be able to deal with some emergency situations that may arise, God forbid.
