Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course titled (Methods of Isolating Fungi and How to Handle Them in the Laboratory), presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib.
The course aimed to educate students and professors on the basic principles of safety and security and the correct methods for handling fungi within educational laboratories, benefiting from their advantages while avoiding their harms and preventing them.
The course recommended that health education plays an important role in supporting control programs by clarifying the types of fungi, methods of infection, and how to prevent them, in addition to cooperation between educational and health institutions in the state.
