College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University organizes a scientific course on how to conduct a collision examination

The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course entitled (How to conduct an impact test) in the Continuing Education Unit Hall, in which Dr. Laith Fadhel Shaker and Eng. Khaldoun Hussein Hamza lectured. The course aimed to know the amount of strength and the extent of the material’s resistance to frequency loads during work. The course also included an introduction to the test, its types, its engineering importance, and the purpose of conducting it. It also included identifying the parts of the impact testing device found in the laboratories of the Department of Materials Engineering and what is the function of each of the parts and accessories. Practical and laboratory training on how to conduct the test of its two types (Izod & Charpy) and the dimensions and positions of standard samples to ensure reliable results
