Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Kazem Nower Al-Zubaidi, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Fine Arts held a seminar entitled (Electronic Begging, Its Methods and Dangers), in which Dr. Firas Al-Ghanmi and Dr. Alaa Al-Saadi lectured. The seminar aimed to introduce electronic begging as a type of fraud or sympathy that takes place over the Internet, where people exploit social media platforms or websites to obtain money in ways that violate laws or ethics. And to address the most important innovative methods to attract the attention of individuals and push them to provide assistance, whether out of sympathy or misleading. The seminar recommended the necessity of preventing electronic begging, verifying the credibility of the entity, digital awareness, using safe platforms for donations, and reporting suspicious accounts
