Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazim Nower Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts held a symposium entitled (Effective Community Treatments to Reduce the Phenomenon of Divorce) in which Dr. Alaa Al-Saadi and Ms. Nihaya Hussein lectured. The symposium aimed to present social treatments for divorce and to clarify the effects of divorce on society, as the impact of divorce is not limited to spouses and their children, but extends to affect society as a whole. The symposium recommended the necessity of working to clarify the effects of divorce on children by introducing preventive, awareness-raising and educational programs, while supporting the role of religion in treating divorce, adopting cultural and societal governmental policies related to divorce and benefiting from the experiences of other countries in this field to reduce this phenomenon
