Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a specialized workshop on first aid in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Organization, Diwaniyah Branch
The workshop aimed to qualify students to be able to provide first aid in emergency situations, whether inside or outside the campus
The workshop covered a wide range of vital topics, including how to deal with fainting and suffocation, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dealing with burns and wounds, as well as how to deal with fractures and sprains. The workshop was attended by a group of qualified trainers from the Red Crescent Organization, who presented theoretical and practical lectures, in addition to practical exercises to enhance skills Participants
