Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Professor Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, and the follow-up of the Director of the Student Activities Department at the ministry, Dr. Hassanein Basim Al-Shadeedi… The Ministerial Department of Student Activities held the annual meeting (2025) for directors of student activities departments and sections in Iraqi public and private universities at Al-Farahidi University to discuss several topics, including:
1. Discussing the student activities curriculum for the academic year 2024 – 2025 for the first semester and identifying the positives and challenges that accompanied the curriculum.
2. Honoring public and private universities that ranked first in the student activities evaluation form.
3. Clarifying the components of the second semester curriculum and providing recommendations for improving work.
4. Proposing curricula for the upcoming semesters and focusing on creative ideas.
Dr. Muayyad Ali Al-Khalidi represented Al-Qadisiyah University, and a dialogue workshop was held, chaired by Dr. Hassanein Al-Shadeedi, with section heads to discuss several essential topics for future work development in line with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to achieve the desired goals that would enhance the reality of student activities (sports, scouting, artistic and cultural activities, and volunteer work).
