Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Pathology and Poultry Diseases at the college organized a seminar on the impact of live vaccines for Salmonella and Escherichia coli. The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Najm Abdullah Al-Abadi and Ms. Mahasen Abdul Razak Khudair.

The seminar aimed to highlight the urgent need for preventive vaccines against bacterial pathogens, which also applies to bacterial infections that remain neglected, despite affecting a large portion of the global population, especially under poor health conditions.

The main recommendations generally include the use of four main types of vaccines against bacterial infections today: inactivated bacterial pathogens (whole cell antigen (WCA)), live attenuated bacterial vaccines (LAV), toxoid and monovalent vaccines, and conjugated polysaccharide vaccines.
