Assistant Professor Zain Al-Abidin Yasser Jumaa from the Nursing College at Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the activities of the sixth international scientific conference organized by Al-Kafeel University in collaboration with the University of Toledo and the University of Michigan from the United States, as well as Al-Ameed University and Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital. The conference aimed to enhance scientific and research movements and provide a stimulating environment for researchers.
The faculty member’s participation included a joint research paper titled “Determinants of Length of Stay in the Intensive Care Unit after Cardiac Surgery,” which aimed to determine the impact of age, weight, type of surgery, and intubation duration on the length of a patient’s stay in the intensive care unit at Al-Nasiriya Heart Hospital.
It is noteworthy that Al-Qadisiyah University participated with 54 research papers, all of which were accepted and will be published in globally classified journals within Scopus and Clarivate databases.
