Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Diseases and Poultry Diseases held a scientific training course on the Hemagglutination Inhibition test in birds, presented by Ms. Mahasen Abdul Razak Khudair, Ms. Batool Kazem Moatab, Mr. Hassan Ali Hamadi, and Mr. Mohammed Mahdi Yasin.
The course aimed to establish that the Hemagglutination Inhibition test relies on the inhibition of viral agglutination by specific antibodies in the serum; it is a test used in viral diagnosis and antibody testing.
The course recommended the importance of veterinarians adopting the Hemagglutination Inhibition test to diagnose viral infections and to determine the vaccination schedule for each batch based on the results obtained from these tests.
