The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a cultural morning titled “Domestic Violence and Its Effects on Psychological and Personal Behaviors,” presented by Dr. Alaa Al-Saadi.
The session included an explanation of the concept of domestic abuse, also known as domestic violence or intimate partner violence, as a pattern of behavior in a relationship that is exercised to gain power and control over an intimate partner or to continue to subjugate them. Abuse is a set of physical, sexual, emotional, economic, or psychological actions that affect another person or the threat of committing these acts.
