Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radeef, the Department of Computer Information Systems organized a training course for first-year students titled “Fundamentals of Writing a Model Research Paper.” The course was presented by Dr. Makarem Khashan Al-Muhanna, Mr. Latif Sami, and Mr. Haidar Ashour.
The course covered the definition of research, writing mechanisms, and the essential principles to be followed while writing scientific papers. It also focused on how to write scientific research in a rigorous scientific manner by following the correct steps and applying standard scientific rules.
The main recommendations of the course included the importance of writing scientific papers and the necessity of continuously conducting research relevant to the field of study throughout the duration of the program, as well as emphasizing the writing of scientific reports in line with the Bologna Process currently being implemented in studies.
