The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a cultural morning entitled (Providing a Safe Environment Free from the Phenomenon of Harassment), in which M.M. Israa Riyadh Al-Ghara and M.M. Ala Mazen Makki lectured. The morning aimed to raise awareness about the importance of creating a work environment free of harassment, and to enable employees to know their rights and duties. The morning also discussed the definition of harassment, its forms, causes and effects, in addition to the legal framework and regulatory policies to combat it. It also provided practical mechanisms for prevention and response, including developing clear policies, promoting a culture of respect, and providing safe channels for reporting.
