Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Habouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Veterinary Microbiology at the College held a scientific course on methods of diagnosing parasites inside tissues, in which Prof. Dr. Azhar Jafat Karawan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nour Eidan Jarad, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Hadi Jawad, Asst. Nuha Qasim Muhammad, and Asst. Prof. Sara Razzaq Khadir lectured. The course aimed to identify methods of diagnosing parasites that settle inside tissues, as there are more than one method, including the visual method, the method of digestion with the enzyme pepsin, the squeezing method, and the method of crushing muscles. The course recommended the necessity of examining meat with one of the methods of diagnosing parasites that are located inside tissues. A biopsy can be taken from the lung or intestinal tissues. It may be necessary to take several samples and conduct repeated examinations to find the parasite
