Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a practical course entitled (Reading and Interpreting the Results of Medical Tests and Bacterial Cultures), lectured by Prof. Dr. Bahija Abis Hamoud, M. Haider Kamel, and M. M. Sahbaa Majeed. The importance of the course lies in knowing the contribution of medical tests in detecting the presence of a specific disease and diagnosing it, either directly by detecting the pathogen (viral – bacterial – fungal – parasitic …) and other disease-causing factors, or indirectly by detecting the body’s health status with a disease (such as tumor markers that indicate the presence of cancers – high triglycerides and sugar – detecting inflammatory proteins) and other laboratory indications, which is a procedure performed by a doctor or health service provider
