Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the first festival for women’s development and creativity organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Baghdad under the slogan (If you prepare it) through the presence of the Director of the Office of the President of the University, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Kazim Yassin Al-Muhanna, representing the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, accompanied by the Head of the Women’s Affairs Division, Lecturer Dr. Khitam Muhammad Hassan, and the officials of the Women’s Affairs Units at Al-Qadisiyah University.<\/p>\n
The festival included the opening speech of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd, who emphasized the achievement of high rates of achievement in the axes of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women by the Women’s Affairs Divisions and Units in all formations of the Ministry.<\/p>\n
This came in his speech representing His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, during his opening of the first festival for development and creativity for the year 2024, which was organized by the Women’s Affairs Department in the Ministry, in the presence of the heads of governmental and private universities and academic and cultural figures.
\nFor her part, Director of the Women’s Affairs Department, Dr. Nada Al-Abadi, explained that the first Development and Creativity Festival for the year 2024 received the support and patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as the festival represented a platform to shed light on women in the field of women’s affairs in several governmental and private universities. The festival also included documenting women’s work and encouraging their creative works in a way that ensures their development at all levels, by presenting success stories of distinguished women and honoring them with the Giving Board in appreciation of their efforts, and highlighting the activities and events held by the Women’s Affairs Divisions and Units in all formations of the Ministry related to the National Strategy for Iraqi Women. On the sidelines of the festival, an exhibition of student handicrafts from all universities was held. Al-Qadisiyah University, represented by the Women\u2019s Affairs Division, participated in the festival, which included displaying murals, relief sculptures, and artistic paintings by the student (Sanaa Jabouri Kahar) from the College of Law, and handicrafts produced by several students in the College of Education for Girls, which won the admiration of the attendees and the presentation of letters of thanks and appreciation to the festival participants, including our university\u2019s participants, embodying the sponsorship of creative works.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
