The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a practical workshop entitled (Ways of Women’s Self-Defense to Confront Violence) presented by Assistant Professor Ghazwane Karim Khadir. The workshop aimed to introduce women to the importance of self-defense and the use of the simplest defensive movements and their use when needed. The workshop also included a set of movements, skills and grips that women need in self-defense to confront violence. The workshop recommended the necessity of learning and training on the most important skills for self-defense and establishing training units within universities, as well as holding workshops and awareness lectures on the importance of this topic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
