Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Nizam Jabbar Talib, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University held a training course entitled (The Right of a Public Employee to Defend Himself before Investigative Committees). \nThe course aimed to implement the contents of the Federal Integrity Commission’s planning and research books related to the implementation of the National Strategy for Integrity and Anti-Corruption for the years (2021-2024) and to provide employees in various state departments with theoretical and practical information related to administrative investigation and to clarify the employee’s right to defend himself before investigative committees. The course also showed that administrative investigation constitutes an important guarantee of the public employee’s guarantees and that it goes through a continuous series of procedures that ensure adequate legal protection for him, in addition to shedding light on the legal value of administrative investigation with the competent judicial authorities
\nThe course concluded that there is a legal system that provides adequate protection for the public employee represented by the administrative investigation in accordance with the legal texts regulating this matter, and it is nothing but a real and effective guarantee to protect the employee and the public office.
