Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College held a guidance seminar entitled (Rejecting Violence is a Humane, Islamic and Ethical Characteristic) in which Prof. Dr. Haifa Juma Hassan and M. Abbas Fadhel Daham lectured. The seminar aimed to urge students to stay away from violence and focus on peaceful coexistence, and to educate them about the dangers and negatives of violence on the life of the individual and society. The seminar also included educating students about the harms and negatives of violence on the life of the person and his society, and in return what the rejection of violence provides in terms of a happy and stable life for the individual and society.
