The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, Al-Qadisiyah University, held an advisory seminar entitled (Electronic Blackmail in the Age of Entrepreneurship), in which the legal presenter Abbas Bardan Al-Barqawi lectured and was moderated by Professor Dr. Sanaa Jawad Kazim. The seminar aimed to introduce the concept of electronic blackmail as a process of threatening and intimidating the victim by publishing pictures or film materials through which the blackmailer tries to obtain material benefits or immoral issues from the victim through social media and chat programs. It also aims to clarify the reasons for the spread of this phenomenon in our society and ways to address and reduce it. The seminar also clarified the role of electronic blackmail in negatively impacting entrepreneurship as a process that works to undermine economic growth and competitiveness by making administrative work hostage to weak-willed people whose main purpose is to achieve benefit through illegal means.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
