The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women campaign, as part of global efforts to combat violence against women. Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Khalidi, the head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, Ms. Israa Riyad Al-Ghura, prepared and distributed awareness brochures and posters aimed at raising awareness about the importance of combating all forms of violence directed against women.<\/p>\n
The brochures and posters included awareness messages highlighting the dangers of violence and its negative effects on individuals and society, as well as information about women’s legal and social rights and the available protection and support mechanisms. These awareness materials were also distributed throughout the college to ensure they reached students, faculty members, and administrative staff, contributing to the promotion of a culture of respect and equality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
