Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab Al-Askari, the Psychological and Social Guidance and Counseling Unit held, on the occasion of the Psychological and Social Guidance and Counseling Week, an awareness seminar entitled (Bullying and its Psychological Effects), in which M.M. Taif Mazhar Muslim and M.M. Sari Ali Abdul-Hussein presented. The seminar aimed to define bullying, its types, and the psychological effects resulting from bullying, and the most prominent signs of a person being bullied, which were represented by increased anxiety, depression, and illogical thinking. Some symptoms may disappear naturally after bullying stops. The seminar recommended putting a limit on the spread of bullying behavior among members of society by raising the level of awareness and education among members of society, directing bullies and reducing their activity through awareness, cultural, educational activities, and psychological rehabilitation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
