Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Biotechnology, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahab Al-Iraqi, the College of Biotechnology organized a workshop titled (Solar and Wind Energy Technologies), presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Kamel Al-Taie.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to enhance understanding of the importance of solar and wind energy as sustainable solutions to address the challenges of climate change and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, as well as to introduce recent developments in these technologies and how to use them in daily life. The workshop also covered teaching participants how to design and install solar and wind energy systems and understand the economic and technical factors associated with these technologies. Through the workshop, attendees were encouraged on how to utilize renewable energy in homes, farms, or commercial projects.<\/p>\n
The workshop recommended providing financial incentives for companies and individuals to adopt renewable energy technologies and funding research and development projects to reduce the costs of solar and wind energy technologies, as well as encouraging local production of solar panels and turbines to lower operational costs and imports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
