\nThe College of Agriculture launched the activities of the Afforestation and Sustainable Development Week in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Sattar Abdul Hassan Al-Fatlawi, and a group of guests, professors and students.
\nThe opening ceremony included listening to the national anthem and standing for a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs and the opening speech of the Dean, then the President of the University announced the launch of the first event, which included the academic running marathon (for students) in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency, and after distributing gifts to the winners, the afforestation campaign was launched and the newly established scientific departments were opened (the Department of Prevention and the Department of Field Crops) with a wide academic and student presence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
