Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Geography Department at the College of Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University, held a workshop titled (Geographic Analysis of the Monkeypox Epidemic – Challenges and Response Mechanisms Using Geographic Information Systems). The workshop featured presentations by Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Marzouk Rassan, Assistant Professor Dr. Atika Faiq Rida, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Fashlan Haloul.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to raise community awareness about the symptoms of monkeypox, its transmission methods, and prevention strategies, contributing to reducing its spread and alleviating associated panic, as well as improving the response of health authorities by discussing early detection strategies, treatment, and preventive measures, in addition to exchanging experiences among specialists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
