Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Star Hamid Hamza Al-Janabi, the Department of English Language organized a scientific workshop titled “The Impact of the English Language on Behavior,” presented by Engineer Mohannad Abbas Mutab.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to review the role and importance of the English language in various fields of life for individuals and institutions, as it is a global means of communication. It also sought to understand the nature of the impact this language has on the behavior and personality of individuals and institutions, both psychologically and behaviorally, as well as to recognize the nature of the reciprocal relationship between the English language and the behavior of its learners and users.<\/p>\n
The main conclusions indicate that the English language, like learning anything else in life, has an impact on the behaviors of individuals and institutions in a reciprocal manner, as it serves as a communication tool in all its forms across various fields and sectors of life. Therefore, attention must be paid to this impact and to enhance the positive aspects while refining, polishing, and trimming what is strange, negative, or unfamiliar in our Arab, Iraqi, Islamic reality.<\/p>\n
The main recommendations include refining and polishing some unfamiliar behaviors associated with communication in English, both personally and culturally, in our Arab Islamic society, and working to establish good behaviors that could bring about a positive change in the behavior and personality of individuals and institutions. Additionally, there should be no mixing or duality in using the British and American English dialects, as this has a negative impact on learning this language, especially in educational institutions in our dear country in terms of pronunciation, grammar, writing, and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
