Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nower Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University, in coordination with the Artists Syndicate, Diwaniyah Branch, held a symposium entitled (The Environment of Trade Union Work and Investment of Academic Energies), in which Dr. Walid Qahtan, the Syndicate of Artists, Diwaniyah Branch, lectured. The symposium included an explanation of union work in its various descriptions and in its natural and virtual context, and that it serves the members as a voice expressing the interests of the members, which gives it the legitimacy to demand the rights that the state is responsible for securing according to internal laws and regulations. The Syndicate’s President, Diwaniyah Branch, also explained that the role of the Syndicate is also to contribute to the artistic and cultural renaissance in the country in cooperation with the relevant authorities to raise the general artistic level through all means of publishing, media, theater, cinema, exhibitions, etc., and to participate in local, Arab and international artistic conferences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
