Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit at the college held an awareness seminar on the phenomenon of smoking and drugs and combating social stigma. The seminar featured lectures by Dr. Haifa Jumaa Hassan and Assistant Professor Abbas Fadhel Daham.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to warn students about the dangers of smoking, drugs, and social stigma on individuals and society, and to raise awareness about ways to prevent these bad habits. The seminar included educating students about the health, psychological, and social risks and harms of smoking and drugs.<\/p>\n
The seminar recommended the necessity of holding guiding seminars and lectures, producing television and radio programs that inform people, especially youth, about the dangers of these harmful habits, as well as organizing awareness conferences and establishing special institutes to combat these bad habits.<\/p>\n
